Maurizio Vio, former Fincantieri employee, had a dream that came true in 1980 when he founded his own business in Venice.

Vio started out in a small laboratory of only 50 square meters in the branch of light mechanical carpentry, working with farmers, fishermen and private citizens building gates, railings, tractor’s levels, greenhouse trusses, and providing maintenance services on fishing boats.

In 1996 the company was still growing and moved to a 750 square meters covered area located in Jesolo.
